All Our Apartments Are Pet-friendly!

A Home for You and Your Furry Best Friend

Welcome to our pet-friendly apartments in Portland! Our city has the highest number of dog parks per capita among major US cities, which is a testament to how much we love our pets.

We are delighted to welcome both cats and dogs in all our apartments, with a limit of two pets per unit and a weight limit of 75 pounds to ensure the comfort and safety of all our residents. However, please note that some apartment communities have breed restrictions. Certain breeds and their mixes are not permitted in certain apartment communities. Here’s a list of the most commonly banned breeds: German shepherds, Pitbull Terriers, Cane Corsos, Rottweilers, Staffordshire Terriers, Akitas, Mastiffs, Great Danes, and Doberman Pinschers. We hope you and your furry best friend will enjoy your stay with us. Share your pet adventures on Instagram using #ekopets and let’s make some unforgettable memories together!

Your Pet is Welcome at EkoLiving

At EkoLiving, we know your pets are part of your family—which is why we’ve made every one of our apartment communities pet-friendly. Whether you have a dog, a cat, or another companion animal, you’ll find EkoLiving a welcoming place to call home. We don’t believe in making residents choose between a great apartment and their pet.

Our pet policy is designed to be straightforward and fair. We accept cats and dogs at all of our properties, with breed and weight guidelines that reflect a common-sense approach to community living. Pet deposits and monthly pet rent apply—your leasing agent can walk you through the specifics for the community you’re interested in. As always, all pet accommodations for assistance animals are handled in full compliance with fair housing law.

Living with Pets in Portland

Portland is one of the most dog-friendly cities in the country, and EkoLiving communities are positioned to make the most of that. Many of our properties are steps from parks, green spaces, and off-leash areas. Whether you’re in the Pearl District near the North Park Blocks, in St. Johns near Cathedral Park, or in the Tabor neighborhood near the trails of Mount Tabor Park, you and your pet will have no shortage of places to explore.

When you tour a property, feel free to ask your leasing agent about nearby pet amenities, dog-friendly outdoor spaces, and any pet-specific considerations for that particular building. We want your pet’s transition to a new home to be as smooth as yours.
